I listened to the audio of this one, single 1st pov, and the narrator was fantastic. She really brought out the emotion in it and the humor in the parts meant to be funny. Easy and quick listen that you don’t want to put down.

I went into this completely blind, I saw that it was being made into a movie and gave it a shot. I really loved all the characters, the mmc/fmc, the mmc family and even the fmc coworkers all played a part in making this an enjoyable and funny listen.

I wish we saw a bit more of the MCs interactions at the family ranch, I feel like that was glossed over, but even still, with the way it was written I really believed that the fmc fell in love with everyone during that job. It was also nice to see that she realized that she wasn’t broken or unlovable but that it was just waiting for the right guy. And the mmc is basically perfect, but not in an annoying way. He did all the little things without even telling anyone and was just an all around good guy. I’m not usually a fan of “Hollywood/acting” trope, but this wasn’t a big part of the story.
