Cherish Me by Farrah Rochon

4.0

A while ago, I went looking on twitter for recs on marriage in trouble romances and this was one of the recommendations and boy did this book deliver. It was an emotionally intense, incredibly nuanced glimpse into a marriage well into its second decade between two people who were still very much in love but just a little bit out of step with each other. The dialogue was excellent and the story was gripping and so accurate and realistic in its portrayal of a couple struggling to regain their emotional footing after life dealt them a series of curveballs. Just really, really enjoyed this book a lot.
