Atheist Voices of Minnesota: An Anthology of Personal Stories by Greg Laden, P.Z. Myers
4.0
A nice collection of essays from a diverse group of atheist Minnesotans, divided in to four parts: Life as an Atheist, Coming Out, Letting Go of Faith, and Ethics and Action. It was a nice change of pace to read a book from the point of view of everyday people and not celebrities (although there is nothing wrong with the books by well-know nonbelievers). It was interesting to me to read others tell of their trip away from faith and the supernatural after being indoctrinated at birth, and this book was especially interesting and relatable as it was set in Minnesota. I've heard of some of the writers as I already followed some on Twitter and I've heard some on the Minnesota Atheists Radio Show.
