Drawn to Mr. King by Elle Nicoll
4.0
I truly enjoy watching a new author's writing skills bloom more and more as they write new books.
Elle has created such a enticing world with her The Men series. Drawn to Mr. King fit right into the flow that the previous two installments did.
Drawn to Mr. King follows Jaxon and Megan. Megan has been in the previous books of this series, with Jaxon being lightly introduced in the 2nd book. I knew from the minute Jaxon popped in that he was going to be one to love.
This story did not disappoint. Jaxon is a refreshing type of male lead. While yes, he is broody and dresses well, there is a lot more depth to him and the demons he is running from. Elle did well writing a vulnerable male lead. I appreciated how realistic Jaxon's responses were to the things life was handing him.
Megan is such a stronger female lead. She is driven, loving, and passionate about her art. I easily related to her and her reactions to things that take place in this book.
The epilogue was on point and really closed out their story in a fantastic way.
I am looking forward to Elle's next book.
