Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

4.0

4.5 stars due to the very end of the book. I really liked this story. I understand many of the feelings Hannah had. Teenage suicide is an awful and sad thing. I really recommend this book. It also teaches people to stand up and use your voice if you see something that shouldn't be happening. If you have never experienced mental illness as a teenager, then you might not "get" the book. Words and actions are difficult to deal with at that age, especially if you feel helpless or worthless. It all becomes a downward spiral. Very sad.
