Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie

5.0

This novel is a gorgeous story stitched and woven together to form an elaborate tapestry of vivid detail, incredible characters, and absolutely wonderful imagery. Salman Rushdie originally wrote this novel for his son to whom the book is dedicated in 1992. Regardless of its status as a children's book it is full of allegories referring to man modern day problems existing in society, specifically in India. This is a MUST read for all ages.
