More like a 2.5 to be honest. I have very mixed feelings on this series as a whole. The first book I didn't like very much aside from the setting. Book 2 I actually rather enjoyed and I didn't mind Luce as a character that much. This one I am extra split on. I once again don't really like Luce as a narrator. I really like the concept of this book but am not really invested in Luce and Daniel at all. Idk I enjoyed Passion but I didn't. I think that for me it started of pretty strong with Luce meeting some versions of herself but then it got old really quick and it started to feel a bit ridiculous and redundant. Like it was creative to see French Polynesian Luce but when the Mayans were brought up I was kind of starting to lose interest and it started to feel really over the top for me. I just don't think that it was necessary to show THAT many of her past lives. Plot points revealed lifetime by lifetime could have happened quicker and in a less dragged out way. So yeah, I probably would have rated this one higher if it didn't go on and on and just cut to the chase.
