Weave the Dark, Weave the Light by Anna Zabo

Weave me a spell

This was a beautiful delight!

Ari and Jonathan were able to catch my heart in a short amount of pages.

There was so much of Jonathan, of the light and darkness. Of submission, his need, his desire. All things Ari wanted to take and take and give back in spades.

With 50pages there isn’t a lot of space to create a world, or build up strong backgrounds. But it kind of fit for me with the flair of magic and mystery and sometimes a person doesn’t need to know everything.

The high rating might come just from a few sole moments, which made me so emotional. But I’m also a sucker for magic, bonds (…) and might always be biased.

I think it’s a novella between 4-5 stars for me 😊
