General Description: Madison's mom leaves her after being in her life for 17 years. This leads Madison to fall behind in school, forcing a tutor to enter her life. That tutor is Liam Strom, social outcast, as deemed by Madison's friends. However, Madison shows up to tutor and discovers Liam has more going on behind the scenes than anyone was expecting. Will Madison and Liam be able to heal together, or are they too broken to put their pieces back together?

ALLL the good:
- The way the characters were written felt extremely authentic.
- This book had some major twists I didn't see coming but it kept me engaged the entire time.
- I love the progression of both Madison and Liam. It felt more realistic than I feel most YA books are.
- The raw emotions this book made me feel was something I haven't felt reading in a while!
- The friendship Madison also develops on the side (not with Liam) was beautiful

Overall: If you like YA contemporary books, this should be your next read.
