This book ends the main story (the fourth one is a collection of short stories developing secondary characters ' story and the everyday life of the two main characters).
And it was GREAT. As angst-inducing as the previous one, but satisfyingly so. The subversion of genre keeps going, with this miserable end battle and theme of the author Vs their public.
My eternal sympathy to Zhizhu-Lang who definitely deserved better, poor boy.
I found the very ending a bit lacking in intensity compared to the rest of the book, but I'll put that on the account of being a first novel !
