Although I was not expecting to, I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun and easy read.
This is for people who, like me, love rom coms. It was kind of predictable, but I guess that is the point being that it's a Cinderella retelling. To be honest it didn't really bother me, I find that sometimes you can find a little of comfort in knowing where the book is going, in a way I think that's the point of rom coms. But if that is not your cup of tea then this book is not for you. It had no big plot twist, no complicated storyline or concept. Sometimes a book is just simple and fun, you know.
Elle didn’t annoy me, which was a good surprise because in these types of books there is a point when I usually feel so frustrated with the main character. I don’t think there was any character that was outstanding or specially interesting, except Sage maybe but all of them where a little bit basic. This was good book to spend the time but not unforgettable.
