You keep asking why your work is not enough, and I don’t know how to answer that, because it is enough to exist in the world and marvel at it. You don’t need to justify that, or earn it. You are allowed to just live. That is all most animals do.”
I think the dedication is spot on. This is truly a book for those who need a break. Why is there a desire for purpose? Do crows desire purpose? The cats on your street or the orcas in the waters? Why do we not allow ourselves to just LIVE. Don't we deserve the same peace of mind all other living things have? I'm glad Dex ran into Splendid Speckled Mosscap ( love the name btw ). They needed another perspective just as much as it did.
A very reflective story , I'll be reading the second one.
