It was good and I liked it. BUT. It was also really hard to read. She just endured so much. It wasn't a book you could just power through. I'm also not sure how this could be the beginning of a series. It wrapped up just fine. I think one and done. We'll see though. I'll try out the second book. Just not anytime soon. I need time to hold myself and pick up my pieces from living her life a little while.

Side note: the audio version of this was fantastic.
