A Flicker in the Dark
by Stacy Willingham
When Chloe David was 12, 6 teenage girls went missing in her small Louisiana town. By the end of the summer, her own father had confessed to the crimes and was put away for life, leaving Chloe and the rest of her family to grapple with the truth and try to move forward while dealing with the aftermath.
I loved how the story would jump back 20yrs to when the first group of girls went missing, it blended in so well with the telling of the story. I thought I had it figured out within a few chapters and was so convinced the more I read, but boy was I wrong.
Stacy Willingham gives us everything we would expect from a thriller and more. I will definitely be reaching for more of her books.
