One of the most atmospheric books I’ve ever read. I think the author did a great job at making you feel like you were in the rust belt and I felt like I really understood the community, it’s citizens, and everyone’s dynamic.
This was my first social horror and I really enjoyed the commentary.
While the story is meant to be mysterious, I did feel it all tied together too quickly and left me feeling a little underwhelmed. I think the blending of real people and the supernatural led to some confusion.
