Tokyo Tarareba Girls, Vol. 2
by Akiko Higashimura
I still can't decide how I feel about this series, I really want to like it. The characters are believable, nuanced, and I want to know more about them. I love the art work.
But I can't decide how I feel about the themes and the direction the plot is taking. I keep hoping for one or all of the characters to have an awakening and realize they don't need a man to have a successful life, and they don't need to be married. But I also can understand their feelings of loneliness...
Its an odd combo of characters I like, doing things and voicing things I completely disagree with.
