I was not expecting the ending. I wasn’t expecting anything that occurred in this book. As a fan of true crime, I thought I could handle pretty much anything. But wow, this book was the right amount of dystopian horror show normalized in such a way it kept my stomach aching throughout.
I can’t say I liked it because, well, that would be really messed up.
But I’ll say the person who wrote this has an incredibly creative and disturbing mind. I pray that nothing the author wrote in this book ever comes to pass.
