I give up. Every time I pick this up, in print or audio, I end up wondering why I did so. It has some great points and potential, but I think it needs massive editing. Like Eragon, if it had been cut, tightened up, and polished, this would be great. Instead its 100 extra pages dragging the whole thing down.
