The Only One Left by Riley Sager
5.0

Not much I can say about this other than it was an exceptional read. The synopsis was enough to draw me in completely, but the plot itself once I started kept me thoroughly invested throughout.

There are a lot of thrillers that don’t feel like the ending is earned, or that the mystery was solved in a compelling way, but The Only One Left is not one of those mysteries. When certain revelations later in the plot happened, the groundwork had been laid out so cleverly early on. Everything felt earned. Everything felt relevant, even if it wasn’t obvious to start with. Even towards the end, with four pages left, I still found myself exclaiming a WTF at more revelations, as minor as the may be. They just helped to make the world feel real and lived in and connected.

I don’t want to say anymore as I don’t want to give anything away, but it is definitely worth the read!!
