With this book, I realized that two multiple POVs is all I can take because some points are just not needed, but that's my personal preference. Unfortunately, I lost interest halfway through the book because of this. I'm not a quitter, so I finished, and I'm glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed the present-day FMC's story and character growth. To appreciate her character growth, you have to follow the other two POVs, so it is what it is. Would I re-read? No, but this story can definitely be read in between and fantasy or dark academia book.
