This was a fun and lighthearted sci-fi/fantasy mashup. The setting is lovely, and the main character’s magical ability is really interesting. The writing is beautiful, and it put me in a magical and reflective mood. I recommend it if you are in the mood for a fast and compelling book where nothing traumatic happens in the story.
