Read this for our in person bookclub’s “Classic” pick. I don’t think I read this book as a child so it doesn’t hold the nostalgia for me it might for others.
It was a nice pallete cleanser pick with a good story of friendship and love, but it also had problematic parts as it was written in 1911.
I gave it 3.5 stars. I can say I read it, but don’t have any feelings negative or positive about it,
