It felt very realistic, I'll say that. A bunch of intelligent modern women who have feminist values, yet compromise themselves chasing after men who don't know what they want and can't function without a woman supporting them.
The leading man is not ambitious, disciplined, or appreciative. He needs to be coddled and risks his entire family dynamic to chase a fantasy that he hopes will be more fulfilling than his mediocre porn-addicted life, and the book is centered around the women plotting how to cater to him. It goes to show no matter how well-educated people are, they can still be idiots. I appreciate that it's a reflection of real relationship dynamics, but too frustrating for me to enjoy.
