I loved this book, perhaps my favourite read of the year so far
I don't normally read "fantasy" or unrealistic novels but this tale of a woman who lost her mother as a child and then travels back in time to see her really appealed to me.
There's a parallel theme of faith, but it's not intrusive into the story, and didn't feel overboard, even to an atheist like me.
I'd describe this book as a modern fairy tale, and I liked that the author didn't try to explain everything away at the end. An amazing first novel and I'll look out for this author in the future
