It’s nice to see a story about Greek mythology that cares less about the great heroes and more about the aftermath of their adventures. Set long years after the end of the Odyssey, it takes women who are barely a footnote in the original and gives them a devastating life of their own. Beautiful and sad, as all the best myths are.
