honestly i didn’t expect to be this engrossed in this book but i didn’t want to put it down! even before i finished i ordered the two remaining books of the trilogy because i knew i needed to continue this series!
this book does deal with heavy topics (make sure to check trigger warnings) and the character development for some actions aren’t major but i am hoping and relying on the development to improve in the next two books. there were some things that really bothered me but i held on knowing the main character knew when certain things were bad and immoral and refused to participate so it showed that these gross acts were not glorified
