I kindly received an eARC advance copy of this book to read and review though Booksirens.
This is the second book in a series about the Storyhill band but it works just fine by itself.
Avery is a radio show host of a show that has just been syndicated. On the first day of new distribution instead of the musician she was expecting, her ex from nine years ago ends up being the interviewee.
Avery has cultivated a whole life for herself despite never really getting over Matt. And Matt has never got over Avery.
The attraction is as strong as ever but Avery’s dark secret about their breakup threatens their future together. This is an easy read but has some weighty subjects that it covers. I so enjoyed reading it! ❤️
