Pick Six
by Max Monroe
This story was funny, the jokes, & the banter are truly what kept me holding on.
The storyline didn't hold me.
The chemestry felt forced.
I didn't think the MMC was a black man based on the cover of this book, the model is very mixed, but the Mmc didn't seem to be?
The way the characters' ethnicity was not celebrated nor fully supported was weird to me. MMC says he is an African American man one time, but there's no mention of his parents or struggles as a person of color. The way SIX is described is that of a goddess of color, butttt its not confirmed truly. Idk this book was weird for me.
