Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams, Mark Carwardine

5.0

What? Douglas Adams wrote a non-fiction book? Yes!

He gave a lecture on it shortly before his death and it had a huge impact on me when I saw it. It's an hour and a half long, but if you're a Douglas Adams fan, I promise you it's worth watching.

He starts out explaining how it is he came to even be writing this book in the first place and why it's his favorite that he's written and why he thinks it's important. It's one of the most powerful speeches I've ever seen.

"We don't have the save the world. The world's fine. What we have to be concerned about is whether or not the world we live in will be capable of sustaining us in it."
