The Good Girls by Claire Eliza Bartlett

4.0

This is a good who done it. Even with figuring it out, I enjoyed listening. The characters take a while but they all get their own builds and times to shine.

The only issues I had were the weirdness around one of the characters afraid to tell their parents they were dating. The parents always seemed cool and trying to say but they are religious really didn't sell it. You want to play that card, then it needed more. The other issue is how heavy handed the writer is with the "moral". No adult man in this book was truly redeemable and honestly it was a bit off putting. For a while, I was expecting every man is the city to be in on it.

Still liked it.

As always, I got the audio version. I have to say the choice of having set actors for voices sometimes but not others took me out of it from time to time. If you have a full cast cool, us them or have a single actor.
