Holy freaking cow! This book was bloodydamn brilliant. It was epic and brutal and nonstop action from start to finish and I could not have imagined a better ending for this trilogy. I fell even more in love with the characters and the complexities of each of them. Sevro still remains my favourite out of all the characters, there's something about how brutal he is and yet you know that there's so much more to him than that. And Darrow would not be Darrow without Sevro! From the beginning of the book to the very end, I was on the edge of my seat and went through a veritable roller coaster of emotions. My heart broke multiple times and then was mended and I went straight into disbelief and utter joy and then back to despair and finally ended with tears streaming down my face and a huge smile plastered on it at the same time. The ending was just so absolutely stunning and beautiful and the perfect conclusion to this beautiful book!
