The Miseducation of Evie Epworth by Matson Taylor

4.0

That was lovely and lighthearted right up until it got REALLY dark. I really enjoyed it. Love to see a horrible character get their comeuppance and people who love each other come together. It kind of seems like Evie is the kind of person who will figure things out eventually but all the adults around her are REALLY the ones who are struggling. She’s learning a lot of lessons from observing.

One thing that didn’t happen that should have: you should probably face some criminal consequences when you poison someone and send them to the hospital for a long time . . . ? Right? I don’t know.
