Silver Blaze by Arthur Conan Doyle

3.0

This Sherlock Holmes story set in the world of horse racing was an alright enough mystery that I enjoyed the read of it, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me after finishing it. Sherlock Holmes does what he does best: finding obscure clues and noticing things others don't, leading to the successful solving of the case. It's a fun, short read, especially for fans of Doyle and as such I'd recommend it to read if you have some time to spare and enjoy puzzling the clue to a mystery before checking whether you were right at the end
