Numbers Don't Lie: 71 Stories to Help Us Understand the Modern World by Vaclav Smil

4.0

I enjoyed the premise of the book and all the topics it covered. I feel like I learned a lot! I think what I liked most was the fact that the chapters were small enough that it was easy to read. The topics and writing style made me look things up while I was reading because I wanted to learn more. If it weren’t for reading two other books while reading this I would’ve gone through it faster, and I think the fact it took me this long to read made me a little tired of the book by the time I got to the end. Hoping to read more of this author soon!
