Die Begabte by Michaela Link, Trudi Canavan

Gave up on page 106 of the german version. The story not only failed to keep me interested, going by all the reviews, good and bad alike, it will only annoy me later on.
It struck me as a thinly-veiled soapbox speech about pollution, religion, sexism and the other usual suspects. And not even one I wouldn't have heard before. Add to that that all things considered there seemed to be no actual reason to set the books on more than one world. Except the series-title. So no. It's not my cup of tea and as there was nothing I found remotely interesting or creative this gets 1 star.
