Read it a loooong time ago - actually during my "reader" days and recommended this series as the updated THIN MAN if any company was savvy enough to film 'em. Took awhile and several other books & movies. The result didn't match up with my enjoyment of the book which is still with me. My favorite K&G outing. And yay, the "continuation" was very satisfying - check out MOONLIT MILE, finally!
