This book delivers exactly what it claims to deliver. This is a great first draft of the history of the hindsight obvious coming of Trump as perceived through the youth of the late 80s and early 90s. It does so by tying together a network of misfits to a network of miscreants to a network of power hungry tech-journalistically-savvy right wing/fascist trolls who then became a fascist/neo-nazi movement in earnest.
This book offers a great evaluation of the powers of tiny "bites" of communication as Beran concludes and the potentials they contain, for good or ill... in this case, more ill.
