Hateful Heroes by Michelle Hercules

The plot is honestly so good for a trash book.

The world building is deep and not confusing at all. The entire thing honestly feels like an allegory for the rich and poor especially given the percentages of the Idols, Fringes and Norms. BUT WITH SEX. Lots and lots of sex. Honestly, it doesn't even take away from the plot as a whole.

I like that they aren't the normal archetypes for RH, but dislike that they all feel remarkably similar in their personalities. Like, they do and they don't. Hard to describe really. I know there's a huge difference between their backstories, their behaviours, but they all speak the exact same so occasionally I forget from whose perspective I am reading. None of them are soft but Bryce is the softest.

Daisy is seeming more and more mary sue as the books go on but I rest comfortably believing that she is just an idiot who got lucky.
