there was a lot that i liked about this book. jane was so infuriating sometimes and because of that, her character arc was perfect in a lot of ways. but damn that shit pissed me off lol like if she had realized her ideas were good enough all along…

there’s the absurdity of la and the people who live there. it’s about writing and art and wanting to make a living from the things that make our culture, as they say in the book. 

it was well written and funny and a good story. at times i felt like it was a tad slow but overall i enjoyed it
