another installment in this series that i REALLY enjoyed!! this time it took me a little longer to finish this, but i quite enjoyed the entire spy aspect that spensa had to go through, as well as diving into how each species has innocent people, children, elderly, people that haven't done a lick of wrong in their life. and i am glad for the internal conflict it created in spensa.
i came to enjoy the characters introduced, ESPECIALLY the kitsen, and our dione.
the battle with the delvers was not what i expected - i definitely thought there was going to be more destruction than there was, but i liked the way spensa dealt with that. the knowledge that the delvers too had more to them than just this vast hate.
i'm going to take a little stop here now, though, but i do want to continue reading this series, definitely.
