Queen's Shadow by E.K. Johnston

3.0

This book has a serious case of We'llWrapThatUpInASequel-itis, with the only plot threads that are resolved by the end of the book being some of the most boring ones. But this book was obviously doing something right when I restarted it and read it as quickly as I did, and that's just that I adore Padme's dynamic with her handmaidens. There's less and less of it as the book goes on, but oh well, maybe that prequel that's out now will have more of that.
