The Earl's Betrothal by Karen Tuft

5.0

I read Tuft's previous two regency romances before reading this one and loved them both, so when this book became available at my local used bookstore I had to run to get a copy and I'm grateful I did! If you've read my reviews before, I do not rate a book 4 or 5 unless I would be willing to reread the book at least once, or own a copy of it. This was a sweet, somewhat slow romance that I thoroughly enjoyed! I loved that Anthony was interested in Amelia for the majority of the book (even if he didn't consider her a possible match at first) and I loved that spoiler: Additionally, the climax, though slightly unbelievable, was great because I'm a sucker for a real threat to the relationships besides just miscommunication.

PS I later learned that Karen Tuft (great name by the way ;) ) used to BABYSIT my father-in-law! Isn't that the best?!
