okay first of all i feel horrible not finishing this book but i really dont like it and it just fell flat for me which is really upsetting bc i was looking forward for this book!!! maybe expectations were too high?
first the story starts in the middle of everything so you dont really know what is happening or what happened before. danny (the mc) went to a treatment center for an ed but you dont actually see the before and during part. you only see the after and i didnt really like that. also i dont like danny’s narrative and the love interest is the “manic pixie dream girl” stereotype which doesnt sit well with me. the book in general moves super slow and the plot is not strong. i think the concept is good but the execution could have been so much better.
