Even as a reread this book is still captivating. The story holds up, the emotions aren't rushed or forced. I know people can be frustrated that this one is slower than it's trilogy companions but I think giving this story space for organic progression was really important. This is what war is like. This is how it feels when you're in the "is it over?" stage. And the character growth all around is phenomenal. Truly a treasure.
