I really would love this book if it wasn't SO pushy. It feels like something I would've adored when I was 12, with how queer centric I was. But when you become an adult often times you realize that LGBTs can have their own queer bible they thump, and it gets a little...tacky to say the least. As soon as she started rattling on about David Bowie, I knew I wouldn't be able to sit through this whole novel.
