This was a wonderful and inventive story. It's interesting to see the green lantern ring used for more than punching and shields! I liked the main lantern a lot, and would be happy to see her again in future stories. The setting was interesting, claiming to be a utopia but with multiple aspects even before the main story kicks off letting us know all is not what it seems. The aliens are fun, with my favorite being the ai's who feed off of memes (which reminds me a lot of Naomi Kritzer's catnet A.I) and the theme of societies needing to change/improve over time to prevent disaster is poignant and all too relevant, as is the idea of powerful people doing whatever it takes to stay in power. Additionally, the artwork was engergetic, clean, and nice to look at!
