Good Omens
by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman
Wickedly funny indeed. Unfortunately it never fell in a bathtub, but it did spend a significant amount of time getting battered in my tote bag travelling to and from work. It also made it on a transeuropean plane trip. The book was hilarious. And pretty lovely. Loved the the Them! Aziraphale and Antony Crowley are the perfect duo. And the story was unexpectedly moving... What’s the point of living if you don’t try an apple or two?
The only thing I personally didn’t love was the fragmented narration. But you get used to it and it’s actually a good tool when you have two minds writing one book.
