A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan
2.0

A unique dystopian world sleeping beauty story.

This book was somewhere in between ok and great...kinda hovering at the border of good. It was an interesting story, but I can't help but feel that it was a bit too fast. In one book she fell in love, lost the man she loved, fell in love again, got her heartbroken, found the love of her life, found a new best friend, almost got said best friend killed, almost got killed herself, got betrayed, had a total personality change, and discovered a lot of secrets.

Very interesting, but that's a lot to fit in 342 pages.  If I got the choice to decide whether or not I wanted to read this book again, I wouldn't. It's a good read to pastime,  but I think that there should be atleast some level of intellectual achievement after you finish reading a book. The only thing I learned was what "stasis" is. I'm not saying any book worth reading has to have enough information to contest a physics textbook, but someone shouldn't feel like they wasted their time after reading it.

It looks like an awesome book, but don't judge a book by its cover. Overall this is not a book a highly recommend, but for people who are looking to just get a few more pages on their "read" list, go ahead.
