This is one of the most raw and authentic romances I have ever read. It is filled with important life lessons, comedy, and a love you won’t forget. Josiah and Yasmen taught me so much: people grieve differently, things take time to heal, give yourself grace, communication is important, being apart to grow is okay, let others help you, and more.
There are a plethora of heavy topics discussed here in such an absorbable and attainable way, especially grief. I also loved that the two characters owned a restaurant together; This plot was refreshing since I've never read anything along those lines before!
