Heart Conditions by Phoebe Fox

3.0

Brook Ogden is a psychologist, specialised in relationships. She's also a newspaper columnist and a radio presenter.

Two years ago, her then fiancé, Michael, broke her heart by leaving her two months before their wedding. Since then, she's bought a house and had two relationships. One of them was with Ben, a nice guy who was just right for Brook, except that she broke up with him.

Unexpectedly, Brook finds herself between a rock and a hard place emotionally wise, when Michael returns to town and makes amends and also with Ben wanting to rekindle their relationship.
What's Brook to do?

As far as women's fictions goes, this wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional either. I had no idea it was part of a series, but it doesn't matter as it can be read as a stand alone. The novel is a quick read, but I just didn't feel anything nor cared a great deal about anyone.

I've received this novel via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Cover: Pretty nice. 4.5 stars
